"Older adults and people with disabilities deserve better from Medicare." This is not a good thing that dental care for seniors, people with disabilities and others is treated this way. Some dental care providers have said, dental coverage is seen as a electives not a health care necessity. That is disgusting and should not be accepted. Because dental health impacts a person's entire body dental health coverage is a necessity for good health. And should be included in basic Medicare coverage for no extra cost.
Some seniors and people with disabilities look for specific dental insurance for help with paying for dental care. But this doesn't work for everyone's budget. Link to the Medical Express article:
I agree with the millions of people in the United States who think that United States citizens need universal health care coverage for all health care needs and that it be made available to all, so no one is without needed health care coverage. If Canada can do it so can we. There are lots of countries that do offer this type of health care coverage. No one is prevented for paying for other health care providers if they do not want to use their universal health care coverage in those countries so there is no threat to those who don't want to have free universal health care coverage.
